Akbar mengaku tak lengkap rasanya bila mengunjungi Festival Al Azhom tidak selfie di Alquran ‘gede jasa’. Sebab menurutnya, replika Alquran tersebut sudah jadi ikon festival tahunan itu.
“Sudah terkenal sih, saya lihat di berbagai media sosial pasti orang foto di sini, jadi saya ikutan,” kata dia.

Ketua Pelaksana Festival Al-Azhom Iyan Noor Oktaviana mengatakan, sejak hari pertama dibuka Rabu 20 September oleh Wali Kota Tangerang Arief R Wismansyah, festival ini sudah dipadati ribuan pengunjung.
“Dari hari pertama sampai hari ke empat jumlah pengunjung diperkirakan mencapai 5.000 per harinya,” ungkap Iyan.
